Improving efficiency

Airports and their business partners, airport forwarders and ground handling agents are challenged by costly and time-consuming processes for each air cargo shipment due to a large number of paper documents that are based on information retyped up to eight times before the cargo is loaded into the aircrafts.

Each party have optimized their own processes and systems internally, but solutions are not integrated, and digital standards are not implemented. The consequence is a lack of interoperability between the IT systems used by the shipper, truckers, forwarders, ground handling agents and airlines.

How it works:

Clearview Trade offers

Interoperability is the solution

Interoperability is the ability of products, systems, and business processes to work together to solve a common task. ClearView Trade implements interoperability through the use of UBL, IATA One Record, FIATA Collaborative Platform, E-FTI and PEPPOL, which is the new generation of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). Data can flow securely here between all stakeholders in the value chain.

In PEPPOL, each party has pre-registered the data exchanges they accept and work with. Working in this way, you can send to anyone in the PEPPOL network without prior agreement, no customized integrations are needed. The exchange between the operators are described in a Business Interoperability

Specification (BIS), and the documents are validated in accordance with this specification before they are sent.
